The 2012 NAPABA Convention in Washington, D.C., commenced this morning as thirteen NAPABA members from across the country became members of the U.S. Supreme Court bar upon motion by APABA-DC President and NAPABA Convention DC Host Committee co-chair Christopher Y. Chan. Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath for the group admission.
Special events for the Convention continue tomorrow, November 14th, with a golf outing at the Belle Haven Country Club. Programming for the Pro Bono & Public Interest Summit and the International Law Symposium both begin Thursday morning, followed by the inaugural Affiliate Leadership Summit in the afternoon.
